Shabbos

A uniquely uplifting and inspiring aspect of the Eretz Yisrael experience is Shabbos. We invest great attention to ensure that our students gain the maximum form these potent weekly experiences the shabbosim are organized on a monthly schedule. Students at Michlelet Morasha spend Shabbat together on campus approximately once every four weeks, and once a month on organized Shabbatonim outside the seminary. These Shabbatonim provide an opportunity to experience many different communities throughout Israel. Every one of our students is matched up with a 'host family', these are warm, chassidishe families where the girls spend one shabbos per month. The fourth shabbos is an "off shabbos" where students make their own arrangements. These Shabbat encounters add a special depth to the academic program resulting in experiential learning of unmatched dimensions.
